Data Collection and Processing

Contact Form

When you contact us via the contact form, we process: your name, email address, message content, and selected topic.

Purpose: Processing your inquiry and getting in touch with you.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in processing incoming inquiries).

Retention period: Until the inquiry is resolved; thereafter in accordance with statutory retention periods.

Newsletter

When subscribing to our newsletter, we process: email address, and the date/time of subscription as proof of consent.

Purpose: Sending information about our products, services, and industry content.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) (consent). Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future via the unsubscribe link or by emailing admin@archilion.com.

Retention period: Until withdrawal of consent (newsletter unsubscription).

Server Log Data

When you visit our website, the server automatically collects: IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, and browser/operating system information.

Purpose: Technical operation and security of the website.

Legal basis: GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation).

Retention period: 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Cookies and Local Storage

Our website does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.

To store your decision regarding the cookie notice, we use only your browser's local storage under the key archilion-cookie-consent. This entry contains only the value "accepted" or "declined" and is never transmitted to our servers.

If JavaScript is disabled or local storage is unavailable, the website continues to function; the notice will be shown again on each visit.

Hosting and Data Transfers

This website is hosted at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in the Frankfurt (EU-West) region. All personal data is processed and stored exclusively within the European Union.

No transfer of personal data to third countries outside the EU or EEA takes place.

Disclosure to Third Parties

Personal data is not sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties, except when:

you have given explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)),
disclosure is required for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), or
we are legally obligated to disclose.

Data processing agreements (DPA) pursuant to GDPR Art. 28 are in place with all service providers who may access personal data.

Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): You may request information about the personal data we process and obtain a copy.
Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You may request immediate correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You may request deletion of your data, provided no statutory retention obligations or other legal bases apply.
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR): You may request restriction of processing under certain conditions.
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR): You may receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or request its transfer to another controller.
Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): You may object at any time to processing based on GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).
Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): Consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
